Our Products
Our 3D printed photographs and frames are made from PLA plastic. PLA stands for polylactic acid and is a plant-based, compostable plastic. In other words, if you give our products to a commercial composting facility, they can turn them into dirt. If you buried them in your back yard, eventually they would turn into dirt too, it would just take several decades.
The 3D printing process works by placing melted PLA down in layers, and color blending is made possible by placing additional layers on top. We can print in up to four different colors, and they can blend together to make beautiful prints.
Our prints have a unique texture due to the printing process that you can really feel.
Our Process
After you place your order, we will contact you to get your photo and discuss print details. We will then create a mock up and send it to you for approval. You will have the chance to ask us to make adjustments before final approval. There are constraints that we are limited by, due to the printing process, so not all adjustments will be possible. After your final approval, we will print your photo and mail it to you.
The entire process, from placing your order to receiving your product, can take several weeks to over a month, so be aware that this process is not immediate and plan accordingly.
If you’d like us to expedite your order, you can pay and extra fee and we will prioritize you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are your products safe around children and pets?
Generally, yes. There is no glass in our products, and they are made from non-toxic material. While this means they are safer than traditional framed photo prints, they can still break into small pieces that can result in choking if ingested. Our frames also contain small pieces used to hold the photo. You should treat them like any other plastic products that contain small pieces.
Can you print full-color prints?
No. We are limited to four colors in our prints. While those colors can be blended to achieve more colors in between these four, only two colors can be blended at once. This means that full-color printing is currently not possible with our printing method.
Can your frames be used with regular printed photos?
Yes. Our frames can be used with regular photo prints, and our standard size frames can be used with standard photo glass/acrylic sheets. We size our frames slightly larger than their advertised size to accommodate any variance in photo sizing. This ensures that your photo will fit correctly without requiring any forcing or bending.
How long will it take to receive my product?
Our process can take a while to complete, so we can’t guarantee any particular delivery time. The time it takes to complete largely depends on how many adjustments you request, whether you ordered a standard frame that is in stock, and how long our queue is. If you pay the additional fee to expedite your order, we process your order in a separate expedited queue, which always comes before our standard queue. You can also choose expedited shipping to make sure you receive your order as fast as possible.
